Julia Dixon brings a strong background in education, administration, and community engagement to her role as Office Manager at Housing Forward. Her commitment to mission-driven work began in 2016 as a Greater Tulsa Teach For America corps member, where she taught preschool at CAP Tulsa and saw firsthand the impact of housing on children and families. She joins Housing Forward with extensive experience delivering high-quality support to teams navigating complex, fast-paced environments.

Before joining Housing Forward, Julia developed and implemented curriculum for K–12 students, guided high-achieving students through selective college admissions, and coordinated equity-focused initiatives in both established and start-up education and nonprofit organizations. She returned to Tulsa in the summer of 2025 to work with the Tulsa Mayor’s Office on homelessness initiatives, gaining experience with zoning, the housing developer ecosystem, and interagency collaboration.

Julia holds a Master of Arts in History from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Yale University. Outside of work, she enjoys hot yoga, singing neo-soul-inspired tunes, and trying new vegan recipes to share with friends and family.
